Strategic Asset Management - Resource and Activity Plan 2022-2025

JMT Technology Group plays a crucial role in managing the asset management program for MDOT MTA. They lead both the internal and external asset management teams, manage all projects by developing scopes, monitoring budgets, and ensuring projects stay on schedule. Consequently, MDOT MTA requested JMT Technology Group's assistance in developing the Resource and Activity Plan for fiscal years 2022-2025. This plan highlights the collective resources and competencies of the program and outlines the strategic plan for completing the identified asset management projects.

The Resource and Activity Plan aligns with the goals and objectives of both MDOT TSO and MDOT MTA's asset management programs. It identifies any gaps in competencies or project needs for the four to five-year program cycle. The goals and objectives include defining and recording the assets owned, determining the condition of these assets, establishing a plan for maintaining assets in a state of good repair (SGR), committing to asset management best practices, and developing a framework and guidance for asset management software.
