JMT Technology Group, a leading geospatial and information technology solutions provider, is looking for an experienced and energetic regional director to lead the growth of our geospatial and information technology practice in several states. The regional director will collaborate with project managers, business development, marketing staff, and subject matter experts throughout JMT to broaden our customer base, as well as maintain business relationships with our existing customers. The regional director will also be responsible for engaging with business partners to enhance and strengthen our relationships by facilitating partnering activities that will result in positive revenue growth.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic and tactical business plan for the identified region; execute, monitor, and report on the approved plan
- Lead team efforts:
- Build a pipeline of new business for the identified region
- Build relationships with new clients
- Prospect for new customers and turn this into increased business
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
- Develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship
- Support client retention efforts by presenting new products and services and enhancing existing relationships
- Work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff within JMT
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services we can provide, and of our competitors
- Lead proposal development that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives and participate in pricing the solution/service including working with the client
- Participate in business development planning by attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information to the team on market and creative trends; identify opportunities for campaigns and services that will lead to an increase in sales; using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop our unique selling propositions and differentiators for the region
- Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (such as prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities
- Ensure project managers and project teams are delivering on-time and within budget
- Provide project management services as needed
- Responsible for the Technology Group revenue, expenses, and profitability for the region
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business, marketing, GIS, information technology or related field
- Minimum of five years of information technology and/or geospatial business development experience
- Minimum of five years of information technology and/or geospatial business operations experience
- Minimum of five years of personnel management experience
- Minimum of five years of experience with state and local government clients, specifically in the transportation, airport, water/wastewater, environment and natural resource, facility, and/or public safety markets
- Minimum of five years of project management experience
Preferred Experience
- PMP certification is highly desired

The Facilities and Technology Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting the Facility Manager and Technology group in overseeing and coordinating day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings with the project team, tracking project status, and completing necessary paperwork. Under direction, primary role will assist with facility renovation projects, and scheduling maintenance repairs. Work in collaboration with the Facilities Manager and local administrators in all offices to improve processes and procedures. Assist on miscellaneous tasks with the technology group as needed.
Essential functions and responsibilities
- Assist the Facility Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintenance of facilities
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance tasks
- Coordinating resources, tasks, schedules and budgets with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals
- Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance, and expenditures
- Coordinate tasks with local administrators on office relocations
- Schedule meetings, taking notes and preparing meeting minutes
- Processes and maintains all project documentation, including contracts, certificates of insurance, Requests for Information, proposals/bids, Change Orders, meeting notes, and periodic reports of progress and project status
- Assist with asset procurement

Required Experience
- High School Diploma required
