Next Generation 911 Solution - Montgomery County, PA

Funded through a Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Interconnectivity Grant, JMT Technology Group guided Montgomery County, PA through a phased approach to plan, develop, and maintain several comprehensive GIS datasets that are critical to NG911 operations and dispatch. This included building and navigating relationships with over 62 addressing authorities within the County to ensure cooperation and collaboration for data collection and maintenance.

Phase 1 laid the groundwork for the NG911 GIS datasets by focusing on data assessment. Phase 2 built on Phase 1 by developing data for a Site Structure Addressing Point (SSAP) layer. This data is essential for NENA compliance because it establishes an address point for each unit within larger buildings and structures to facilitate more efficient response times.
