JMT Technology Group to Present at Annual NAEP Conference
Will we see you there? Our team will be attending the NAEP 2023 Annual Conference on Sunday, May 7, to Wednesday, May 10, in Phoenix, AZ. The National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP) is dedicated to the advancement of environmental professions. The NAEP Conference will be a gathering of environmental professionals from across the country ready to share information and learn from one another.
We are excited to have been invited by Esri to join them in presenting at this year’s conference! Mallory Gill, GISP, Senior GIS Analyst for JMT Technology Group, will be discussing the how JMT is taking initiative in the environmental space by developing a GIS-based Predictive Wetlands/Waters and Mitigation Modeling Tool for use in future transportation projects for TxDOT. These tools use ArcGIS Pro, ArcHydro, and other geoprocessing tools to predict the amount and type of potentially jurisdictional wetlands and waters existing along transportation corridors where project impacts may occur. Currently, the focus is on two pilot HUC8s with development done in such a way to allow expansion statewide.
Catch Mallory’s presentation, Predicting Wetland and Stream Mitigation Needs for TxDOT Transportation Projects, on Tuesday, May 9, in Concurrent Breakout Session VI, Breakout 2, from 12:15-12:45 PM.
