We are excited to be attending this amazing event once again as well as sharing two presentations.

Add these presentations to your Esri UC agenda:

Exploring AR/VR Use Cases for AEC Projects | ADD TO MY ESRIUC AGENDA

Presented by Nick DiPaolo

Wednesday, Jul 16, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM PDT (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EDT)

Room 3 | SDCC

Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) tools are evolving to integrate with GIS and implemented in AEC projects. Designs, as-builts, and 3D models can be brought to the project site and visualized in the field on a 1:1 scale, providing interactive analysis not capable by conventional methods.

JMT will explore the benefits and possibilities AR offers to GIS and the AEC industry discussing use cases like utility conflict detection, as-built updates, clash detection, design review, and project documentation. During the presentation, JMT will share key learnings and best practice tips.

A 360 view in Creating Floor Plans | ADD TO MY ESRIUC AGENDA

Presented by: Nick DiPaolo

Wednesday, Jul 16, 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM PDT (11:30 AM - 12:30 PM EDT)

Room 27 B | SDCC

This presentation explores the innovative use of 360 imagery cameras and ESRI’s Field Maps to create accurate and detailed floor plans. By capturing immersive, panoramic images, these cameras enable users to visualize spaces with a low-cost solution. We will discuss the advantages over traditional methods and practical applications in AEC, indoor space management, and public safety. JMT will demonstrate how to deliver spatially referenced GIS space polygons and CAD drawings with appropriate attributes to support building inspections, facility management, and emergency operations.
