Consultant Analyst - Trenton, New Jersey

The Consultant Analyst position is responsible for creating and executing test cases across multiple web-based and mobile applications to ensure functionality is defect-free and meets the established acceptance criteria. The selected candidate will be required to work at the client site full time. Remote work is not available for this opportunity.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Perform testing tasks of medium to high complexity across multiple projects
  • Perform black box testing on modules, enhancements, functionality and report findings.
  • Develop and execute Test Cases across multiple projects
  • Contribute to project Test Plans
  • Write reports summarizing findings, categorizing bugs by criticality level, and making recommendations for prioritization.
  • Develop and execute Test Automation Scripts across multiple projects
  • Innovate and contribute to improving test standards, techniques, tools, and processes
  • Provide estimates for testing tasks
  • Collaborate with project managers, business systems analysts, UX designers, and application developers to deliver high-quality deliverables
  • Document and maintain meeting minutes, project scope specifications, stakeholders’ requirements applicable documentation, as necessary.
  • Perform stakeholder requests, such as compiling reports, pulling data, etc.
  • Investigate end-users' concerns or reported issues, taking corrective action as appropriate and submitting documentation tickets to the vendor.
  • Perform multiple tasks/project with set deadlines.
  • Monitor unit email to compile and assess end-user feedback to propose suggestions for improving system performance.
  • Maintain / Troubleshoot software and enterprise system errors and operational issues.
  • Support production systems as urgent and critical issues arise; including possible non-business hours support on a rotating basis
  • Identify, set, monitor, and achieve individual goals
  • Leverage mentorship and peer relationships to increase proficiency in testing

Required Experience

  • Five years of experience as a QA Tester or Software Testing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields

  • Knowledge and experience in Unit Testing, Regression Testing, and System Testing
  • Knowledge and experience using project tracking software
  • Knowledge and understanding of the basic testing methodology

  • Working knowledge of development Agile and Scrum life cycle methodologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using SQL to test complex business logic and validate the persistence of data
  • Strong customer service skills

Compensation for this position is $68,000.00 - $88,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Lead, prepare, and proof technical proposals, standard government form proposals, expressions of interest, and qualifications packages
    • Own all phases of the pursuit process, including identifying opportunities, setting a schedule to keep the pursuit on track, producing and delivering a high-quality document, and tying up the loose ends once the pursuit is out the door
    • Search for and enter RFPs/advertisements into CRM system
    • Develop pursuit outlines
    • Participate in pre-proposal meetings, lead kick-off meetings, participate in debriefings, etc.
    • Craft engaging content and lead the team in storyboarding to produce engaging and persuasive narratives. Prepare major sections of pursuits, including but not limited to firm overviews, project descriptions, and resumes, tailored for the specific pursuit to tell a compelling story to our clients
    • Collaborate with our dynamic team of subject matter experts and sub-consultants to develop pursuit content
